- Premium quality ERCuSi-A silicon bronze copper alloy rods, a copper-based filler metal that contains 3% Silicon and trace amounts of manganese, tin, and zinc.
- Conforms to ANSI/AWS A 5.7 and ASME SFA-5.7 ERCuSi-A standards. Tensile strengths of 50,000 psi.
- ERCuSi-A is for MIG, TIG and oxyacetylene welding of copper, copper-silicon, and copper-zinc metals to themselves and to steel. Typical applications are to weld similar base metals of steel and cast iron to copper, brass and bronze, such as "brass weld" coated sheet steels and zinc coated thin galvanized steels. Also ideal for surfacing areas subjected to corrosion.
- Rod diameter: 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8"; Length: 36". Packaged in 2-Lb and 5-Lb tube.
